If you like full-bodied cigars, but medium in strength, this is the cigar for you. The Brazilian wrapper will give you a hint of sweet molasses, with just a trace of trade-wind spice! It is fantastic. Light it up, and you are imediately transported to your favorite Carribean beach. The interior is the same Cuban seed Seco, Ligero, Olor Dominicano, and Nicaraguan highlights as our Natural, but covered with that sweet and spicy Brazilian Maduro wrapper. Binder is Dominican. This cigar, like our pioneer cigar, is exquisite. You'll enjoy the same creamy, rich, smooth smoke with a slightly sweeter pallet and a hint of spice. Size: 5X50 Box count: 20

What a great smoke. Burns evenly, my kind of mild cigar. I really like this company and the personal touches.

Great Go-To Cigar

Repaet customer here to say that if you like a nice Maduro thats not "all over the place", give this a try. Ebbs and flows of the flavor profile is smooth, and after 3 years, I still find this my favorite. And, it doesn't cost and arm and a leg.

Tom

Setting on my back porch late in the evening enjoying the sunset and a good smoke with different selections from Flatbed and enjoy all. I always call in my ordering and Paul is a great help in selecting a cigar. This order is the Robusto Maduro.

Brown Label

A slightly sweet oaky wood taste throughout, rustic appearance but a razor sharp burn line, perfect draw and holds a long ash. Another winner from Flatbed!

Black Maduro Robusto, GREAT cigar!

Yet another Flatbed that really wow'd me. The flavors were fantastic, there's an unusual front and center flavor in that first third that I couldn't pin. After looking at the website I think that was the mushroom I was tasting. There was also some good spice, leather, and dark tobaccos. The draw was stiff on this one but once I rolled the head a little bit to open things up, wow, fantastic smoke amount and body to go with it. Great cigar, absolutely one to buy a box of at some point.

Fantastic Madure!

If you are a maduro cigar connoisseur, you will love this cigar. These cigars are well made and have an awesome flavor with leather, a touch of mocha and a hint of spice. Every cigar I have received from Flatbed Cigar Co has been a very enjoyable smoking experience. Flatbed Cigar Co's customer service emulates excellence in comparison to any other company in the industry. Thanks Paul!

Awesome!

I'm still a newbie in the cigar world, but hey... we all need to begin somewhere! I ordered a bunch of sampler from Paul here, but this is the first one that i tried. Drink : Orange juice Strengh : medium Temp outside : 10* celcius with lots of wind. Smoke duration : 45 minutes The initial pre-lit smell was a bit of sweetness with some nice tobacco aroma. at first when i lit the cigar, there was some bitter taste for like 4-5 puff, but it's probably because i don't know how to properly light a cigar. After the initial puff, everything is smoooooooth and creamy ! i can taste the sweetness and maybe a bit of leather. The first part and the second part was almost the same. On the 3rd part, the sweetness has gone away for the most part, but there is a nice wood smell now. still very creamy and no bitter taste. Overall, this cigar is awesome. Next time i order, it won't be a sampler, it will be a box of these little stick :)

Q: The reviews look good. Can someone suggest a good whiskey pairing?

Asked by: Robusto Rob - 11/12/2013

A: Yes! George Dickel #12. It's an ivory colored label. Hard to find, but you will love the caramel and molasses similarities.
