Have you ever smoked a Torpedo Shape? The Torpedo shape gives you a large ring (for cool smoking) but a comfortable size at the mouth. PANACEA Red! Our strongest cigar to date. A full bodied, full strength cigar. Brazilian maduro wrapper and Habano binder surround blend of: Seco Cubano, Ligero Piloto Cubano, Ligero Olor Dominicano, and Ligero Nicaragua. Like our PANACEA Black Maduro - this cigar is smooth and balanced. The difference is in the taste and strength. PANACEA Red has all the nutty, spicy, and sweet flavors of the black, but in a bolder body and pallet. If you like a strong cigar but insist it be balanced, this cigar will become your favorite.

Best I can get for my buck.

A great bold smoke. Well crafted, even burn and voluminous smoke with a good draw. Hard to not repeat what has been said about this stick. I just finished a box... My Vinotemp almost always contains only Panacea boxes and loose cigars. If I forget to place an order, I go local, unfortunately no cigar vendors in my vacinity have been willing to add Panacea to their offerings. So I end up buying enough "boutique" smokes to tide me over until the next exquisite box of my last order arrives. Seriously, all have been very good to great cigars. It's what keeps me coming back. And Paul is a pretty nice guy too!

A life-changing event (no hyperbole)

I had humidor filled with Carlos Torano and Alec Bradley cigars. But that changed when I bought one (Habano torpedo red)from a local winery and smoked it after a whiskey and gin tasting as a local distillery. It was a revelation, smooth, without being weak with a perfect burn and great flavor right to the fingers. I immediately ordered a box and a sampler. Six months later, i've cleared out my humidor and have gone Panecea-only. I also have made a lot of friends and Panecea addicts as they are an impressive gift, even to cigar snobs.

Super stick

Very good ignition ,perfect wrapper ; full flavor but not overpowering tones cream and nutmeg and earth throughout , beautiful aroma for those around you that are not smoking , my favorite so far if you like the black but need sweeter cream tones , this ones for you

Bold, yet refined taste!

I've slowly made my way through Paul and Victor's entire Panacea line and this one has emerged as my favorite. I like a strong, bold, yet refined taste in cigars and this one delivers in spades. And it's a torpedo which is my preferred cigar shape.

Unfortunately, Not Impressed

Going with the five star ratings every other reviewer gave this cigar, I thought I’d give it a shot. The cigar felt slightly loosely packed and when I smoked it, the taste was similar to barnyard hay. Definitely not for me.
