PANACEA Toro (6X52), Brazilian Maduro

Toro! Yes, a 6 inch cigar with a 52 ring guage. Nice! You will need some extra time to enjoy this size cigar, but not a half day like some cigars that are just too big. A Toro smokes big, but is the perfect size for after dinner cordials and relaxation. Smooth, rich, sweet, spicey, creamy...it has it all. The interior is the same Cuban seed Seco, Ligero, Olor Dominicano, and Nicaraguan highlights as our Natural, but covered with a sweet and spicy Brazilian Maduro wrapper. Binder is Dominican.

Very Tasty!!

I got into enjoying cigars on my last deployment. I had my favorite pretty much narrowed down. Someone mentioned that based on the flavor profile of my "then" favorite, I should try one of these Panacea Maduro cigars. I'm always up for trying a recommended cigar. This one I can say is very tasty. Not too spicy, not too strong, perfect size. I enjoyed it soo much that I have ordered sticks of each type from Flatbed Cigar Co. I've tried the Azul Cameroon, which is also great, and I am trying the Green Broadleaf tonight!

Smooth and balanced

I usually don’t smoke cigars the first day they get delivered, but I figured why not. Very interesting first half inch. Started with a fast taste of citrus zest that went away in a blink, little nip of spice, then an interesting banana flavor that ended in a molasses flavor. As the cigar progressed, got a richer dark flavor profile. The citrus changed to an almond flavor, the spice went more toward a light black pepper, and the molasses got stronger. Just a great flavor and smooth as smooth can be. I’ve ordered 4 different 4 packs from Flatbed cigars, and they have all been better than I expected. The burn and draw were perfect. If I absolutely had to say anything negative, I wish it had a bit more spice/ pepper, but that’s just my preference. Can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with this. Great job!
