5 STAR RATING!
Here is the latest from Flatbed Cigar Company. The new TRACK 7 label. A beautifully balanced, box pressed cigar. Constructed with an Arapiraca Maduro wrapper with Dominican Ligero, Seco and Nicaraguan Ligero filler. Binder is Dominican. Arapiraca is the Municipality in Brazil where this wrapper is grown...and now considered the Cigar Capital of Brazil. This wrapper is a bit more "Earthy" than the Mata Fina, and lighter as well. I think you will really enjoy this cigar. It is a 5x60 that has been box pressed.

Track 7 treat
Another fan of Kathman cigar reviews and followed his advice to try a stick. That initial 5 pack was followed up quickly with a box each of the 2:46 and the Conn/Kenn. Both have been wonderful treats and making fans in the area. Not sure how we didn’t know about Flatbed prior, but glad we do now!

Track 7
Slight, oily sheen to the wrapper which has a couple small veins and gives off a nice tobacco aroma. The cap seem's well applied and the cigar feels solid with a nice box press to it. It cut's well with a V-cut and the draw is good with a musty hay flavor to it. This smoke had a sweet earthy flavor profile that was very enjoyable. It wasn't overly complex but it was fairly smooth and well balanced. It start's out in the medium range and the strength gradually builds over the course of the cigar to the top end of medium/full. The first third presents nice mocha flavors with some toast and caramel hint's and another flavor I can't place other then to say it's the Arapiraca Maduro Wrapper as other cigars I have had with this wrapper have given this same flavor. The second third doesn't really have a marker or change in flavor's. The mocha is still present, spice is a little more evident in the retro and there is still a nice earthy sweetness, then about the half way point a nice tobacco flavor comes in adding a little complexity. The last third arrives on a fairly strong leather note and the tobacco flavor becomes richer providing some balance against the leather as the sweetness has faded and a wood flavor has replaced it. The spice has continued to elevate as well and is now starting to show it's presence on the tongue as well as in the retro. This was a nice way to spend an hour and 20 minutes. The flavor's were nice and presented in a smooth balanced manner so it was easy to relax and enjoy what this cigar had to offer. The construction of the cigar seemed good and other then a couple burn issues and a few tobacco bit's on the tongue I have no complaint's. The guage was a little larger then I normally smoke but, maybe due to the box press, it didn't seem to bad. Seem's like anything with an Arapiraca wrapper tastes good to me

Track 7 2:46
Well-constructed medium+ strength cigar, absolutely jam-packed with bakery/dessert flavors. A perfect after-dinner cigar, if you have the time for a longer smoke.

Very tasty smokes
I first heard about Flatbed from Katman's review of Track 7, which I purchased along with the Green Label Toros. Both are very tasty smokes. Track 7 is also a very interesting smoke; it has that classic medium-strength, full-flavor experience we all love! The lighter shade of the maduro wrappers gives these cigars unique complexity and intrigue. After gettin' boxes of Green Label Toros and Track 7s, today I decided to order some of Flatbed's other blends: Black Label Natural, Brown Label Maduro, White Label Corojo, Red Label Habano, San Andres Maduro and the new VLI Penna... how happy am I?!

Terrific cigar
this is just a great cigar. It burns nicely, smooth draw, well-balanced flavors. One of my go-to's... my buddy is a believer as well. Nice job on this smoke!

Q:
When are you going to put one of these up as a single, and why not a box of 20 or 24?
Asked by:
Bob
- 11/12/2013
A:
Hi Bob. We have a 4 pack up now if you are looking for more than one...but less than 45! (We do the large counts for the retail stores). Good idea on the single, we will post soon. Also, we will have a 24 count box available online in the Spring. FCC

Q:
what is the box like, under the paper wrapper?
Asked by:

A:
The box is a heavy duty cardboard. I just received my shipment. These guys don't spend money on flashy packaging, but wait until you smoke one of their sticks!! Track 7 may be the best yet. Keep on rocking.
