PANACEA Red - Surprisingly Smooth for a Full Strength Cigar--BRAVO!!
From the moment I removed the cigar from its wrapper, I knew it was a good thing I ate a full meal prior to lighting this bad boy up! I thought for sure it was going to be too strong a cigar for me, as I tend to stay with the medium-heavy to heavy blends (Rocky Patel Special Edition and Liga Privada No. 9 are my go-to's). My lips even felt the power of this thing before I lit up. The quality of this cigar's construction is among the best I have seen (I may have to see how it holds up when I'm cruising down the road on my Harley). And when I toasted it, it had a very pleasant, not too overwhelming aroma. Lit it up... The draw was great, a good amount of smoke. You never can tell what the first inch of burn on a cigar will taste like as they usually find their true flavor about 1/2 to an inch in. The first 1/2 inch was strong but stayed surprisingly balanced. The more I burned it down, the smoother it got. Don't misunderstand me however, it was a strong cigar! I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar, will definitely buy some more and I highly recommend it to those regular cigar smokers who like a powerful yet smooth cigar. I believe Flatbed Cigar Company has really got something special here. Folks, please give em' a try!

I tried the Habano Red sampler pack because I really like the black Panaceas. These did not disappoint. I'll keep smoking these as well. Plus I'm order a few more of the Flatbed options.
