Hi, I just received these and had my first one this past Friday. Where do I begin? In short, the packaging was spot on -- the bag and the tag is a nice touch. For the record, I have been an occasional fine cigar smoker for almost 40 years. I am not an aficionado, but I can tell a good cigar from a bad. This cigar was nicely constructed and it stayed wrapped until I got it down to a stub. It lit hard (not a bad thing), however, it stayed lit longer than most I've had. The draw on this was IMO impeccable! Like most cigars, the flavor really kicked in when I hit the sweet spot. It is definitely a mild to medium, and if I could make one comment, I prefer medium plus but I think I picked upon chocolate notes. On my personal scale of 1 (worse) to 10 (best) I give this a solid 9 - I will be buying again! I did not sign up when I ordered, however, I have since set up an account. I heard about you through Mammoth -- I didn't want to join so I went right to your company website. I have dealt with Thompson for years but I really prefer to buy American. Furthermore, I used to live near the Tobacco Valley of CT. I live in Maine now, but I still remember the shade wrapper plants all over the place with the white covers to block the sun. So good!

I just finished a Partagas Serie D #4 and i was a little disappointing. Afterwards I decided I would have another cigar, and I chose the Panacea Black Natural Robusto... Please keep in mind "to each there own", but I think I would prefer this smoke to the Partagas. The draw and flavor seemed much superior, the wrapper was about even. The burn was even a bit better than this particular Cuban.

Bliss....

Hearing many reviews of these online so I decided to pick up 2 samplers. This was my first stick from the sampler and what a sublime experience. Thick creamy smoke with a razor sharp burn. No harsh spice with subtle sweet notes. A great stick for the seasoned smoker to someone just learning to appreciate a good stick. Light to medium smoke that would be a good morning smoke with coffee. Thank you again for a terrific smoking experience.

Robusto (Natural)

Second time I have ordered this. First time as a sample, second time a Box. I'm not an avid cigar smoker...golf, and vacation. So I'm not one to break down the taste and feel, but after years of trying different kinds from cheap to expensive. These are the perfect in between, very smooth, good size, and will be sticking with these for a long time. Panacea are very good at returning emails and helping me out rather quickly. They also ship out very fast, I think I got the box in two days.

Acceptable

This is definitely a lighter cigar than what I usually smoke but there is plenty of satisfactions— hence robust. The tobacco is good quality, but I wouldn't compare it to a Cuban. I've only smoked one cigar that I can note substantially better than this but it was free, and I don't know what it was. It's morning and I just got done with it, a great coffee cigar. Price Negotiable. Natural leaf wrapping a PLUS. If you like a lighter cigar than this is ideal, especially for morning.
