This is the same PANACEA Black label blend that we sell in stores (and on this website). However, the roll might be a little off. Or, there may be a sun or water spot on the wrapper. Perhaps there is a vein we think is a little too pronounced. You will enjoy this cigar just as much as our 1st Quality cigar, but save a few dollars...for your favorite beer! If you like full-bodied cigars, but medium in strength, this is the cigar for you. The Brazilian wrapper will give you a hint of sweet molasses, with just a trace of trade-wind spice! It is fantastic. Light it up, and you are imediately transported to your favorite Carribean beach. The interior is the same Cuban seed Seco, Ligero, Olor Dominicano, and Nicaraguan highlights as our Natural, but covered with that sweet and spicy Brazilian Maduro wrapper. Binder is Dominican. This cigar, like our pioneer cigar, is exquisite. You'll enjoy the same creamy, rich, smooth smoke with a slightly sweeter pallet and a hint of spice.

Fantastic

Just picked up an order of these and they are fantastic! Flavors are complex and satisfying, and even though these are 'seconds' they smoke just fine! I'll probably be ordering another round of these when my humidor runs low, again!

Panacea Black Maduro 2nd

Hi I would say these are some of the best 2nds I've ever had. Great smokes all the way. The only complaint I have is that I didn't buy a 5 pack of the 60 ring gage sticks. There is an overwhelming flavor of molasses and cedar in these cigars. Because of their small ring gage you should smoke them slow, and enjoy them.

Outstanding factory second.

This stick is every bit as good as the firsts. It had an even cool burn and held an ash. I would and have recommended this cigar.

Best factory second I've ever had

Hats off to you Paul. You and your people are doing a great job...so keep at it. I was skeptical as to whether your "seconds" would be as good as others had claimed...but they are! They're not overly complex but real good...consistently good from start to finish. The construction is outstanding too. Sharp even burn and generally only requiring one, if any, touch ups. At $5.00 each, including shipping...what's not to like? I'm leaving this review and placing another order. Thanks

Excellent cigar and a bargain as well

I've purchased these facotry seconds a couple of times now, and I've come to the conclusion they are one of the best bargains out there. They have that earthy, chocolately flavor I like a lot in a good maduro. I really had to look hard to see why they might have been culled into the 2nds bin, and the flaws are very minor. I've not had a single issue smoking any of them. At a little of $4 a stick, these would be excellent at twice the price.
