At light up a sweet cedar taste, really pleasant, no pepper zing at all. This a very smooth wrapper leaf and cap, not the rustic wrap as other Flat Bed sticks. Moving through the first 1/3 the sweetness moves to the background and a leather note takes over, still very pleasant, light to medium body, no strength, nicotine-wise.
Medium resistance on the draw with decent smoke output. A very slow burner, this is going to be a long smoke! That means excellent value if you have the time. A tight gray ash, slight wave in the burn line.
Second 1/3, leather still present, sweetness is moving forwards, ash still holding on at 1-3/4” but has that banana bend. I’m not going to tap. I want to see how long it goes. Body at medium, still no strength. Ash dropped @ 2” and not in my lap!
Flavors stay the same into the last 1/3 but amped up to medium/full. For a Habano this stick smoked like a premium Connecticut Shade. I really enjoyed it.
