Rating PANACEA BLACK NATURAL 560...My Delicious Day-Starter

The Natural 560 was an absolute delight this morning. I believe with or without coffee it would deliver. I just have this ritual...coffee, Ecu-Conn cigar, the news, email. You know the drill? I'll not bore you with various lip-smackings, notes of this & tones of that. I will share with you that the Panacea Black Natural 560 has quickly shot from out of nowhere to the front of the pack for my morning cigar preference. As mentioned before, buttery...creamy...light pepper...just the right amount of pepper for my start of the day. Midways in this cigar, I enjoyed a noticeable sweetness in the tobacco. Not as in infused but inherently deep within the leaf. This sweetness was ever-so-slight but very noticeable for me and it continued to almost the nub. That sweetness midway was about as complex as this blend would get but I don't go Conn for the complexities. I simply want a consistent, substantial, well-performing flavorful cigar in the morning and I don't want to have to think a lot about it. With the Black Natural, and especially the 560, that's just what I got. One should also note some things the cigar does not have that I've discovered in many other light skinned cigars. There is no bitterness here. From toast to fingertip, the Black Natural 560 was as smooth as any Ecu-Conn I've enjoyed. And the finish on this cigar is so clean. When I find one like this, it tends to go to the finger-burning nub...and that was the case on this cigar. While I enjoyed the perfecto vitolas in this blend, my review here is more specifically for the Black Natural 560. I don't usually reach for an inch gauge cigar but prefer something more in the toro or robusto category. This particular cigar changed my opinions on the larger ring cigars. I know for the past couple years, the trend is many like a bigger, fatter cigar and the makers have taken notice. I thought being an "old" guy, I didn't have the wind for 'em. Come to find out, it was not me but the draw on the other larger ring gauge cigars I had tried just weren't what they should be. If you have shied away from a 60 ring cigar before now...you should try a Flatbed 60.

To my surprise I stumbled upon Paul Bush's Panacea cigars! I knew once I saw this line, I had to try it!! This line was posted on the Pancaea 560 (Natural) webpage...(Strength is mild to medium, with a very full body. Enjoy full, billowy clouds of rolling, sweet, nutty smoke.) it was every bit true! I fell in love with with Cigar and now Pancaea is one of my Favorite cigar Lines!!
